Steel Angle (Angle Iron)

Steel angle is the everyday workhorse for frames, braces, brackets, shelving, trailer builds, and equipment repair.

We stock steel angle in equal and unequal leg sizes and galvanized angle available on request.

Steel angle available from 1/2” x 1/2” x 1/8” up to 8” x 8” x 1”.

Steel Channel (C & MC)

Steel channel - C channel, U channel, same shape by another name - gives you a flat back and two flanges. It is ideal for frames, rails, tracks, stringers, and trailer crossmembers.

We stock structural channel from 1" × 1/2" × 1/8" up through 15" × 50 lb/ft sections.

Standard C channels taper toward the flange tips, while MC (miscellaneous) channels run deeper webs for their size. If your drawings call for MC shapes, ask. We can source them fast through the Salit Metals network.

Steel Bar - Flat, Round & Square

Flat Bar

We stock steel flat bar from 1/8" x 1/2" up to 2" x 4" - the go-to for brackets, braces, frames, edging, and repair plates.

Round Bar

We stock steel round bar from 1/4" to 3" diameter for axles, pins, rollers, machining stock, and railing infill.

Square Bar

We stock steel square bar from 3/8" to 2" - solid stock for ornamental work, machine keys, and structural detailing.

Angle, Bar & Channel FAQs

Is angle iron the same as steel angle?
Yes - "angle iron" is the traditional name for L-shaped steel angle. Ours is hot rolled steel, the modern standard for strength and workability.

What C channel sizes do you stock?
A36 steel channel from 1" × 1/2" × 1/8" through 15" × 50 lb/ft. Channel is called out by depth and weight per foot - a C6 × 8.2 is 6" deep at 8.2 lb/ft. Call for today's stock list.

What's the difference between C channel and U channel?
Mostly naming. "U channel" usually refers to the same C-shaped section; true U shapes have parallel (non-tapered) flanges. Tell us the dimensions you need and we'll match the section.

Do you cut angle, channel, and bar to length?
Yes - saw cutting to your cut list is standard with any order.

Do you deliver?
