Aluminum Sheet & Plate - 3003, 5052, 6061
Aluminum sheet & plate is available in various gauges and dimensions and we can cut to size. Picking an alloy is mostly picking a job:
3003. The formable one - bends and rolls without complaint. Pans, enclosures, trim, general sheet metal work.
5052. The corrosion fighter - the marine-grade choice for tanks, boats, truck bodies, and anything that lives wet.
6061. The structural one - heat-treated strength for frames, machined parts, and load-bearing work.
Aluminum Bar, Angle & More
Beyond sheet metal: aluminum bar stock (rounds and flats), aluminum angle, tube, pipe, and beams. Aluminum angle at a third the weight of steel is the quiet favorite for trailers, frames, and marine work. If it's extruded and common, it's either on our floor or a quick pull through the Salit Metals network.

One thing to know about our stainless inventory: T304 and T316 aren't sheet-only grades - they apply across everything stainless we carry. So whatever the form, you're choosing between the same two chemistries.
304 vs. 316 - which stainless do I need?
T304 is the general-purpose standard: kitchens, food contact, indoor and most outdoor work.
T316 adds molybdenum for serious chloride and chemical resistance - road salt, de-icing spray, coastal and process environments.
If your part lives near brine or chemicals, spend up on 316; otherwise 304 usually does the job.

Which aluminum alloy should I use - 3003, 5052, or 6061?
3003 for forming and general sheet work, 5052 for corrosion resistance and marine duty, 6061 for structural strength and machining. Not sure? Tell us the job - picking alloys is half of what our counter does.
What's the difference between 304 and 316 stainless?
316 adds molybdenum for much better resistance to salt and chemicals. 304 covers most everything else at a better price.
Do you sell 4x8 aluminum sheets?
Yes - 4' × 8' is the standard stocked sheet in 3003, 5052, and 6061, and we cut blanks to size.
Is your stainless available in forms other than sheet?
Yes - plate, rounds, flats, square bar, tube, pipe, angle, and channel, all in T304 with T316 available.
Can you cut aluminum and stainless to size? Do you deliver?
